  • How much does a 1/4 beef cost?

    Current Pricing: Beef is $3.55/lb hanging weight (this price can fluctuate daily based on market conditions, so always check with us for updated pricing)

    • Each quarter weighs approximately 200-220 lbs hanging weight

    • You'll pay us (the farmer) between $700-$800 for the meat

    • Processing fees are approximately $1.35/lb (paid directly to the locker)

    • Total budget for a quarter beef: Around $1,100

    • You'll receive approximately 130 lbs of take-home meat

    • Will feed a small family for 8-12 months

    • $400 deposit for 1/4 beef

    • $600 deposit for 1/2 beef

    • $1,700 deposit for whole beef

    • Final bill sent after we receive hanging weight from processor

  • Current Pricing: Pork is $2.00/lb hanging weight (price can fluctuate)

    What to Expect:

    • Half hog: approximately 100 lbs hanging weight

    • Whole hog: approximately 200 lbs hanging weight

    • Processing fees paid directly to locker at pickup

    • $100 deposit for half hog

    • $200 deposit for whole hog

    • Final bill sent after we receive hanging weight from processor

    • Bulk Orders: Cash, check, or Venmo

    • Individual Cuts (Meat Shop): Cash, check, credit card, or Venmo

  • Orders typically take 2-3 weeks from processing to pickup. You'll pick up your meat directly from the processing facility after it's complete.
